Peer reviewed research provides evidence that our programmes lead to significant improvements in community mental wellbeing. The findings also reveal that increases in mental wellbeing have been significantly greater for people who were the least active prior to the programme, with a strong, positive correlation between increases in physical activity and increases in mental wellbeing being observed. That is, as physical activity increased following the programme, mental wellbeing also increased.

Using Green Book guidance issued by HM Treasury, we calculate that the economic benefit of the impact of our programmes on improving life satisfaction across the UK has amounted to a value of £36.1m .
