Influential Woman of the Year award for Intelligent Health’s Marketing Director

Katherine Knight, Intelligent Health’s Marketing Director, has been named as Influential Woman of the Year in the Thames Valley’s inaugural Venus Awards.

At an awards event held on 8 June, Katherine Knight was recognised for her impact on encouraging people to be active across the UK. As Marketing Director for Intelligent Health she has helped develop the award-winning Beat the Street programme which has encouraged more than 800,000 people worldwide to get moving.

Additionally, Katherine has worked both as marketing director of a UEFA women’s international football tournament and helped The Football Association make women’s football the top female sport in the country.

The Venus Awards celebrate successful women in business throughout the Thames Valley. It is one of several regions where the awards are held across the UK. As a result of winning the Thames Valley category, Katherine Knight has been put in the running for the National Awards which will be held on 12 July at Audleys Wood Hotel in Basingstoke.

Speaking about receiving the award, Katherine Knight said: “ I am thrilled to have received this award which recognises people who have worked to increase equality. We have a fantastic team at Intelligent Health and have created a programme that works for everyone including helping thousands of women to build activity into their daily lives. I am really proud of what we have achieved and very grateful to receive this recognition.”
