Chairman of Intelligent Health’s Executive Board — Mark Lund — has been recognised for his services to the advertising industry after receiving an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

Over 1,000 people from across the UK were celebrated for their achievements in a variety of fields and industries in this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours list. Mark Lund was awarded Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) along with 215 other individuals for his major role in the UK’s advertising industry.

Mark’s substantial experience includes being the current CEO of McCann Worldgroup UK — a 1,700 strong organisation made up of some of the UK’s best marketing services. Prior to joining McCann Mark has helped co-found two independent advertising businesses, served as the Chief Executive of the UK government’s Central Office of Information, been Chairman of the Advertising Association and served on the councils for both the IPA and ISBA.

By receiving an OBE, Mark joins Dr William Bird — CEO and Founder of Intelligent Health — as the second person to receive a Queen’s Honour in the Intelligent Health team. William received an MBE in the 2010 New Year’s Honours List for his services to health care and physical activity.

Congratulating Mark, Dr William Bird — CEO and Founder of Intelligent Health — said: “On behalf of everyone at Intelligent Health I would like to congratulate Mark on this well-deserved award. We are extremely proud to have our Chairman recognised for his incredible contributions to UK advertising and marketing.”
