Adults: 

Our programmes have their greatest impact on levels of physical activity at the community-wide level. In 2022, the overall proportion of inactive adults decreased by 6%, while the proportion achieving 150+ minutes of physical activity per week rose by 9% (bases on n = 5073 matched pairs; aggregated from 19 games).

Headline statistic: When looking solely at adults who were inactive prior to our games in 2022, 56% had become active following our games.

Children:

In 2022, the overall proportion of less active children decreased by 5%, while the proportion achieving an average of 60+ minutes of physical activity per day rose by 7% (n = 3885 matched pairs; aggregated from 19 games).

Headline statistic: When looking solely at children who were inactive prior to our games in 2022, 41% had become active following our games.
