Intelligent Health founder Dr William Bird and client services director Veronica Reynolds will be presenting at the SWITCH Final Conference in Bremen, Germany this week (14th April).
Intelligent Health is a Technical Support partner to the SWITCH consortium, contributing know-how to the EU-funded project on how to use health incentives and gamification to encourage active travel.
SWITCH works with five partner cities: Hounslow, Gdansk, Vienna, Antwerp and Donostia/San Sebastian to encourage people to change their behaviour and to walk or cycle instead of using the car for short journeys.
William and Veronica will be presenting on the importance of active travel and discussing how recent Beat the Street competitions held in Hounslow and Gdansk encouraged people of all ages and abilities to get more physically active.
Beat the Street took place in Gdansk and Hounslow in 2015 and returned to Isleworth in Hounslow from February to April 2016. It will return to the entire borough of Hounslow in autumn this year.
