Programme impact

We motivate people to get outdoors and improve their behaviour to help our environment and our health.

We bring stakeholders together to work collaboratively to make changes that increase active travel, reduce air pollution and together feel proud of the work they have achieved.

“My role involves a great mixture of talking to local school children about why we want to reduce air pollution around schools and promoting the benefits of using active travel.”

What people are saying about Eco Travel

Our relationship with Intelligent Health and the staff involved has been a successful one from the start, working in partnership with ease and consistency to reach the desired aims and objectives... We wouldn’t hesitate to contract their services in the future and hope to continue the Air Quality project with them if we win continuing funding from October 2024.

Julie PillaiMy Journey

It was great for the children to be involved in a Wokingham-wide scientific investigation. They really enjoyed participating and getting to use the air quality monitors.

I'd say the N02 workshop is fun and a good way to learn as well as being educational. When I was in the N02 workshop, we also had to use teamwork and, as they say, teamwork makes the dreamwork! Measuring N02 is important as it is a gas that is made by fossil fuel and if we keep polluting, it will start effecting the way we live, so this workshop is important because we need to know about what is happening.
