The Beat the Street Sound Map comes to Tomorrow’s Reading

By May 3, 2016March 9th, 2023No Comments

What will the future look like? Where will we live? How will we live, and what will we eat? Come and hear, touch, feel, taste and experience ‘Tomorrow’s Reading’ at a one-day interactive festival as part of Reading 2016, Reading’s Year of Culture.

The brand new Beat the Street sound map will be unveiled this weekend during Tomorrow’s Reading. A Beat Box will also be set up just outside the event, allowing all tappers to get double Beat Box points when they attend the event.

A family ticket for this special event is just £6 and gives you access to a fully interactive experience — get hands on with the latest technology, try out the food of tomorrow, re-discover your own Reading through sound, explore the themes of the future of love, health, work and play and enjoy some great live music. There is also a programme of great speakers talking on the future of health, cities, food and environment all afternoon.

Tomorrow’s Reading is supported by Green Park, the award winning 195-acre business community. It is curated by the team behind FutureFest — a weekend festival designed to challenge perceptions of the future, and powered by Nesta, the UK’s innovation foundation.

Tickets for Tomorrow’s Reading are available from www.readingarts.com and cost just £3 each or £6 for a family ticket.
